Our Work
Canberra Hospital Expansion – Security Systems Delivery
Metro Electrical + Security was proud to contribute to the Canberra Hospital Expansion Project, working from January 2023 to June 2024 to deliver critical electronic security infrastructure on behalf of Securetas. As part of the ACT Government’s largest healthcare infrastructure development to date, our team implemented high-standard solutions across CCTV, access control, intercom integration, and electronic door hardware systems.
Operating within one of the territory’s most complex and sensitive healthcare environments, we ensured all installations met stringent compliance, safety, and performance requirements. Our scope included coordination with intercom systems, installation of security-rated electronic door hardware, and deployment of comprehensive CCTV surveillance—supporting a secure, efficient, and patient-focused facility.
Marquee Amaroo – Residential Security Integration
Metro Electrical + Security proudly delivered integrated security solutions for the Marquee Amaroo apartment complex, Canberra’s first build-to-rent residential development. Our scope included the installation of advanced CCTV systems, intercom networks, and electronic access control, ensuring secure and streamlined entry for residents and visitors alike.
Working alongside the project’s developers and building managers, we tailored each system to meet the unique requirements of high-density living—enhancing resident safety while maintaining ease of access and operational efficiency.
